Another Snow Day!

As you can see, we got a whole bunch more snow last night and today! School was cancelled again and I got lots done here today! I trudged through knee-deep snow to get outside to take this shot of the south deck. The pile of snow on the BBQ was so high and the trees are really leaning over with the weight of the snow! It was crazy. Don spent over an hour plowing out the driveway so I can get to school in the morning. We'll see!

A Snow Day!

When we got home from Utah and Colorado, we found most of the residual snow around the house had finally melted! It had been there since October! However, on Wednesday night a storm came in as predicted and dumped a bunch more on us, and with it, the wind! Thursday morning I woke up to news of 'no school', and our first "Snow Day"!! Hurray, I love to stay home. This is my kitchen window around 11 am. The snow finally stopped around 2 pm. What a bonus day!

Hanging Out in Castle Rock!

We had so much fun hanging out each day, playing with Addy and holding Mckenzie! What a blessing to have been there, even though our time was short. We did a lot of playing!
Babu and Mckenzie
Juliana amazed us as she balanced all that she needed to do. She is such a great mother!
We took Addy to the wonderful nearby park, and had fun swinging, sliding and playing in the sand. She loved being outside.
She played so hard that she actually fell asleep sitting like this in her wagon on the way home.
It was so hard to leave on Wednesday evening. We did get a trip in to the public library that day and Addy and I had fun at story time! She loves books!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! What fun we had with Addy as she searched for little plastic eggs around the living room. Here Tyler is reading her a book, which she loves to do!
Tyler and Juliana blessed Mckenzie on this special day. We were so happy to be able to attend the service for this occasion. Julinana's parents joined us for the weekend which was fun too!

                                                    Sweet sisters, Addy and Mckenzie!

Sweet Mckenzie!

Don and I were so excited to fly over to Colorado to see our newest little grand daughter, Mckenzie Ruth. She is so precious, and such a sweet little baby. Don and I had so much fun holding her and tending to her and her sister while we were there for four days.

Tyler is so happy to have another one arrive safely and so beautiful. He loves his girls!
Addy is so cute as she watches this new little sister get attention, but she is doing well with the adjustments around the house. She's a very busy little girl and plays well with her toys.
Happy to be in Castle Rock to visit Tyler and Juliana and these sweet little girls!

A Shower for Beth

It was so fun to travel down to Provo for our Spring Break! Brenan was busy studying and finishing up his semester at BYU, and Beth continues to work at the lab. She is getting larger, but is feeling pretty healthy. Less than a month to go! Yippee!

I was so happy to be able to attend a shower which was thrown for Beth on Good Friday. Her close friends put together a nice meal and several joined us for a bunch of fun!
Miniature skater shoes...perfect for Brenan's little one!
Some of Beth's special friends...they are so good to each other!
What a belly...'McKay' is really growing big!

Sweet, Little Mckenzie!

Oops, I almost forgot to post this picture of our newest grand daughter, Mckenzie Ruth Hall. She joined Tyler, Juliana, and Adelynn on March 30th at 10:11 am. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Juliana and Mckenzie are home and doing well almost a week later. Don and I will be flying from SLC to Denver to see them over Easter break.  For more photos, click on the link to Tyler and Juliana's blog. She's such a sweetie! I can't wait to hold her!

The Great White North!

As you can see, we are still buried in snow up here. I know it could be worse, but it's April and I am so ready to see some green! I thought I'd share these photos so you can see what it looks like here. Don and I took a walk today, although it was very muddy on the roads. Notice Don in his shorts. He's tougher than I am! I was in a sweatshirt and my winter coat, hoods and all!

It's hard to believe that there are two levels to our backyard. The new wall is barely visible!
The swings are buried!
